I used the Search function to see whether or not someone has already asked this question. But no one has asked this question before...
In the past, I uploaded a few pictures on this forum. I noticed that they would last for a few minutes. But afterwards, they would disappear. Apparently, it happened in my Web Browser. (I'm using Opera.) Why did the pictures disappear? Are they too big? What is the maximum size that Quake One will allow?

just use a site like http://www.imgur.com or http://www.imgbox.de to upload the pictures to and
add them to your posts by using by using the [img]imageurl[/img] tags to make the image be imbedded into your post.
example:
[img]http://clauzzen.files.wordpress.com/2011/07/quake-screenshot-1.jpg[/img]
will make this

my personal prefered site is imgbox.de since it doesnt compress images at all, and imgur compresses uploaded images a lot which results in a lot of qualityloss.
imgbox.de is german though, but supersimple to use. just press browse button to select a file, tick the little box below that button, and then press the 'hochladen' button to upload it
