  • I need help running mods with Dark Places

    I've been trying to figure out how to load DOPA with the Dark Places engine. I can load DOPA just fine in Quakespasm, but when I tried to load it with Dark Places it just doesn't work. Is there a different way to load mods with Dark Places? If so, how do I do that? When loading DOPA with Quakespasm I just type "game dopa" and "exec quake.rc" in the console, but that doesn't work with Dark Places. I looked everywhere for a solution but I couldn't find one. Also, I'm a noob when it comes to modding quake, so if this question sounds stupid, that's why.

    In DarkPlaces, it is "gamedir dopa" instead of "game dopa" as the commands have slightly different names between the 2 engines. - Being exactly one-half good and one-half evil has advantages. When a portal opens to the antimatter universe, my opposite is just me with a goatee.

    So while you guys all have to fight your anti-matter counterparts, me and my evil twin will be drinking a beer laughing at you guys ...
