QRack - connecting to a server error

I tryed removing -game fvf209 Baker,but didn't work, The samething hapens. It's very odd,I want to play with QRack but I can only play with glpro.

Jack,did you read all the posts? Baker told me the problem is because some servers don't acept the command -game fvf209. Before saying ''fyi'' which I hate quite much,try to understand the situtation.

Just for fyi I can connect to

quake.shmack.net ;
coop.runequake.com ;
fear.quakeone.com ;

And I use Qrack 1.60, actually the only servers I cannot connect to is cheatfree which is only to be expected with the client in quesiton.

And the only servers I COULD enter was FvF and Hub.

Hrmmm ... I know I've seen Yellow playing at Shmack a few times late at night and I believe he is using Qrack 1.60.

There isn't even a good pattern there!

coop.runequake.com:26003 and hub.quakeone.com are the hosted on the same SERVER! But yet you can connect to one and not the other.

The only connection is that FvF and the Hub are both run by Gunter and the other servers aren't.

Do you have the -game FvF in your startup? Perhaps the Qrack engine or those other servers don't like it when you use the FvF gamedir for some reason when connected to a non-FvFish server.

Try removing -game FVF and then try to connect and see what happens.

What server are you trying to connect to?

(Unless it is a cheat-free server, probably doesn't make a difference but without knowing I don't have enough info to form an opinion or test anything to see if it happens to me with Qrack 1.60).
