My skin player don't show up properly

I created a skin player but problem start when I replace it, on editor show me it as you can see here:

I made image on .BMP 8-bit format
Someone can say me why happen me this?

Hello Rebelvodka,

I download the .png skin and converted it into .bmp
You usually have to do this because original model tools do not accept .png.
I opened the original soldier model in QME and replaced its skin with yours (only converted into bmp).
Everything worked as intended.
Good work on your skin

Try to use QME 3.1.
It worked for me, so it should work for you too.

Hey, I tried replace skin with QME, and worked me fine... now do you know a place where I can upload my quake skin appart of GameBanana?
