I need help with the command prompt.

So when ever I tried putting in some command lines in the command prompt it gives me an "unknown error" for example, when i try to run the "-game xmen" or other mods it games me an "unknown command -game"

I've tried looking for this problem But It seems that i don't know how to fix it. It's annoying me! lol What's the problem? How can i make it work? I am using (GLquake 1.00) my quake version is 1.9. Thank you

And yes the xmen folder is all in lowercase letters.

If Windows do Start -> Run and type:

"c:\quake\glquake.exe" -game xmen

There needs to be a c:\quake\xmen folder with the mod in there in the above example.
