How to install mission pack 1 in vista 64-bit

I have a disk of the first mission and when I go in to the cd using explore and click setup and it lets me click install and says installer not in 64-bit format and wont let me intall and quake 1 didn't give me any problems. do you guys have any ideas.This is my new desktop becasue my moms laptop broke and that had home basic so 64 bit is new to me.

i have the same problem as this guy i took my dads old quake games and tryed to play them again but everything i click says i need a 64 bit version of it
yes both mission packs i have has a pak0 file in the rouge\hippnotic files
about 35mb in size

That depends what version of the CD you got. Do you have any files with "pak" in the name on it?
