i started quake up as usual today, entered a game w/o checking first, and mouse didnt work at all. Even after re-booting my computer as p.i.t.a. suggesteed and checking other programs ie: games.. EZquake worked fine and others as well. This is the first time its happened to me. Have i been manipulated by an external force? or is it just a bug, did my computer lose a file for +mlook (lol) .. weird shit.... anyone know what it might be ? i can just as easily re-install quake, but.. Bah ! extra work, any quick fixes ??

It can be any of those things. Just make sure your config.cfg is write-protected at all times.
