started a topic Quake as a tension relief tool.

Quake as a tension relief tool.

I was wondering if some one could aid me in getting a individual's real-life portrait modded into being a "Quake 1 player models" head. Basically, I need to provide some stress relief, and nothing beat's shooting a specific person thats causing my family grief, but we all know shooting people in real life is a no-no, no matter how much joy, pleasure, or pure enjoyment might be obtained from it.

me and the wife want to aim at the bio-dad,anyone care to help ??

Good idea, god knows that newb would cry and piss and moan. Thanks for the suggestion to not give the queen substance for drama. Nonethe less, it was great stuff to SWONE him in the server's. On another note...

All Quakers are "Brown/Green" and Team-Games do not yield "Color coded" players. BUT, that nikka's face showed up nicely!! Tweaking my own homebrew Q1 "stuff" should also prove to be fun if I can continue to do this stuff as easily as this first tweak was!

You should probably NOT link or youtube anything like that. You don't want to give someone you have trouble with a reason to sue you or otherwise "get" at you by posting public images of mutilating his portrait or something. I can imagine a number of scenarios where this would make you look bad. Just something to think about.

ProQuake doesn't support external textures, you'd have to use QME to replace the skin and make the skin the same size as the existing skin.

Qrack? Not with the filename and path listed above. JoeQuake supports .pcx skins of the same size as Quake player skin (296 x 200?) as a .pcx file in quake\id1\textures\models renamed to player_0.pcx (I think!).

Qrack probably supports that too if R00k hasn't changed it. Doing something like that Qrack fun skins pack is probably an option.

Like the idea. Maybe a modified skin might do the trick?
