    Where can I get dpmod for darkplaces?

    Hi. I'm running darkplaces on linux and i heard good things about this dpmod.

    if your laptop unzips it fine, why dont you copy the .txt over to your pc ?
    I will not post a link to the .txt file itself. Credits would be missing.
    I would never release something without credits to the one who deserves it.
    And in this case, jakub1 and jorix did some VERY nice effects, which I implemented on top.

    Regarding weapon models:
    There are many many different and at least as much "slightly" different (remake) models out there.
    - plaque
    - primevil
    - ruhois
    - .....

    I'm using Jorix's effectinfo though. For some reason you're zip file gets reported as not a valid /corrupt file. Although on my laptop it unzips just fine. Maybe you could link it as a simple .txt?

    I have to say though. Im blown away by how this game looks with Darkplaces especially and all the bells and whistles along with the QRP packs also. Its looks amazing imho

    I was messing around with Qrack lastnight and I really like those weapons. I might have to swap them over.

    I wasn't sure either so I just gave it a shot. Wow. It really does add to the game. I put the .txt file in the ID1 folder and Darkplaces loaded it automatically.

    I've seen it both ways. As far as maybe a modified Quake, Unreal engine etc. But yea, Ive been out of the loop for awhile.

    It looks a little funny on the Darkplaces site. Ive only seen it as "dpmod". So thats all I was looking for on the website(dpmod).
    Once I looked closer I realized it was "dpmod". I always overlooked that file, thinking it was a earlier DP build. lol

    This isn't really a good question. "dpmod" shows up with the DarkPlaces home page as #1 search result.

    I'm just saying ....
