Q3 Ranger model?

Not sure if this is the right place, but is there a Quake 3 Ranger model available for Quake 1? If so, where? I've seen people mention it, but I cannot for the life of me, find it.

I would do it myself, I used to mess around with Counter-Strike models back in the day, but i'm really not familiar with the Quake engine, and if it's already been done, I would rather not waste my time.
Could someone post it if they have it?

Well there's no "official" statement that GuakeGuy is indeed Ranger (would have to check my Quake 3 manual again). However one can just assume it because he's from that era and his CTF skins represent the Grunts that it's the same character.

However visually, he has many differences which is likely why he is wanting a "QuakeGuy" skin or model based off "Ranger" from Quake 3. I gave Moo's model a Ranger face. Made him look a bit younger too.

Used Q3's as a base. Had to edit as it was too low res for the skin (27% smaller to be exact lol)

wow! that looks awesome!! thats just what im looking for! did you skin that yourself from scratch? or did you use the Q3 Ranger as a base? Also... when can I get hold of it?

Never mind I discovered a little tool called "Misfit Model 3D" that would allow you to import the md3 while keeping animation. I had it for 3ds-max but I am not a fan of that program. I will be posting soon.

AndehX - this model has many similarities to "Ranger" so I could reskin the face to resemble him more. It'd make him look like a younger Ranger. After all the events of Q3 (if you take all the games as a single story) happened after Q1. So he could of buffed up since then

Yeah that was a issue with Moo's model as it is. Still haven't fixed it. I believe it was R00k who said he has a fixed version of the model - would love for him to PM to me
