odd problem. I started Quake(dark places)...went to load a save...no saves show up in game? went and looked in my quake/Id1 folder and there they were...my 4 saves..like always, but in game...they don't show up. made a new save in game. looked for it in quake/ID1...its not there. did a search...its in user/saved games/darkplaces folder?...all of a sudden after playing for 4 days..my saves are showing up here instead?...with a new config file too? I don't get it. I started seeing weird issues after installing the 'Quake Animated-REFLECTING-OVERLOAD" mod. I installed this after I had a few saves already and all was fine...then..I started a new game to see the effects in E1M1 and noticed...textures missing, skybox different than what I had and then this...my saves showing up in a different folder. I guess some kind of conflict with the old saves?...so it decided to create a darkplaces folder elsewhere and send saves there?

maybe that new mod made a new default config. that makes sense to me...
