glqrack still locking up

ive reinstalled quake fresh and installed qrack. Updated video card drivers, ran prime 95 for an hr and passed everything. Its still locking up after about 5 to 10 minutes of play... Anybody know this problem?

its either your card
your settings
or qrack

why exactly are you using qrack? darkplaces has alot more options and is mostly bug free as of what i heard...

what deep dark setting would that be? everything else runs just fine

It's possibly neither your fault nor mine but something incompatible in the drivers. I'll try to test but you havent told me what gfx card you are using.

I think I had this issue with Qrack and it turned out to be a deep dark setting in my ATI card.

Yeah i reinstalles everything with no luck. I can try furman. If worse comes to worse i can hopefully change gpu or by more cooling fans if that's the issue or lower the gpu wattage

That's what we allready discussed in the other thread. It has to be a qrack/driver issue because anything elso works fine.

Run Furmark instead. Prime95 is a CPU stresser while you are probably overheating (parts of) your GPU.
