got weird prob. when i play mp3's in Pro-quake, this weird thing happens when i start a new game. i pick my difficulty, then my episode. when i go into the slip gate, it puts me back at start. whats happening?

i do play with frog bots, though when i do play single player, i switch back to id1 with the gamedir command. as a note this problem does solve itself sometimes if i turn the mp3 music off.

Unfortunately, frogbots changes a few cvars values (deathmatch, samelevel, teamplay, etc.) and changing gamedirs doesn't reset everything.

You'll have to manually type samelevel 0 in the console to switch back to single player successfully. One of the few mods where this is true.

In console, try typing "samelevel 0".

I am guessing you have played with a setting somewhere, since there is no relationship between music and what occurs in-game.

Did you play a mod recently, like a bots mods? Maybe you have an altered command line and are trying to play single player with the bots mod running?
