Alright all, i setup a test QuakeWorld server. Has a map pack added too all on rotation.
Check it out and let me know how it goes, feedback, etc.

Pc specs are good!!!
U can even run quakeservers on a P120mhz

For the upload 300Kbit, I would leave the sys_ticrate at 0.05 or test 0.025.

Will change deathmatch to 3 when i get home from work tonight.
Whats the best ticrate for 300KBit then?
System specs should be ok, 3000mhz, 2gb ram etc.

Be nice to get the server smooth, must be that damm ticrate

Ah ic u should change ticrate again then, u need atleast 512Kbit upload for sys_ticrate 0.025 and that with max 8players playing.

Ah another little thingy maybe set deathmatch to 3 ,its kinda the standard for euroservers.

And the specs of the server?

It seems ticrate 0.015 feels a bit choppy maybe try 0.025?

Yep all 3 work nicely now !

Its still sys_ticrate 0.05 on the crmod one instead of 0.015 tho maybe u got it twice in the config..

Thanks for testing again mate, yeah i was moving server to another pc and reinstalling quake, thats why it was offline

All seems ok now, added ticrate in autoexec.cfg now too.

Also added Painkeep server - lawson.servequake.com port 26001
and qrally - lawson.servequake.com port 26002

Should be working fine

Ur server worked ok earlyer , but now it seems offline again ..
Ping was ok too 50-65.
sys_ticrate was still 0.05 tho , maybe change it in the autoexec.cfg that came with crmod.
