I have a question for any fellow Darkplaces users out there. I just recently got a new computer and had my Quake and Darkplaces engine backed up and transferred it all over. When I started up the game everything was completely out of wack such as everything being black and being able to see through walls and such. At first I was thinking damn I have to completely start everything all over and then I noticed everything had to be redone for some odd reason. I had to remove my autoexec and run the game without it. Then I got the classic reflecting overload texture errors so I had to put in the load dds stuff again.Is there a way to make a config file for the darkplaces engine itself? After I ran the game without the autoexec and quit and put it back in that began to work just fine. Its just evey time I move my folder to a different computer or user everything just seems to reset or something.
