How to both compile and build the source code of FTE QuakeWorld at all!?

  • How to both compile and build the source code of FTE QuakeWorld at all!?

    Recently I have downloaded an archive file of the source code of FTE QuakeWorld from sourceforge.net website and then I have extracted the only single and one folder that was found in that archive file either by using Windows File Explorer or WinRar or WinZip or Seven Zip archiver software.

    Then I have opened the extracted folder with Windows File Explorer to find out that the extracted folder does not contain any sln file at all, so I don't think that I can use any Microsoft Visual Studio in order to both compile and build the source code of FTE QuakeWorld.

    If my thought is really true then how am I supposed to both compile and build the source code of FTE QuakeWorld at all!?

    If my thought is false then how am I supposed to use any Microsoft Visual Studio in order to both compile and build the source code of FTE QuakeWorld without any sln file at all!?
