I'm introducing "Small Mod Compilation ver. 4.25" alternative version without spider, new dog extended, zombie axe, new zombie model.

Size: ~41mb.

Sound pick up backpack changed to standart (lock4.wav) for full compability with alternatives sound packs (examples: Mingrid, Epiquake).

Please use the included autoexec.cfg sample to customize all features to your personal liking (inside pk3-file).

Hey guys, I enhanced the SMC by Tweaking SMC's tits and slapping its ass to a different beat ,and provided an entirely new SMC download alternative....

Dont like the Spider replacement or Demon ghosts coming out of corpses? Rip out the spider/Demon ghosts / turn them off and fucking enjoy it, but please don't bullshit me or yourself, or this community with "My changes was so profound and different from the oginal SMC that you can no longer even recognize it" so I uploaded my own full version,and completely ignored the customizing vehicle (autoexec.cfg) that was provided by Seven.

Truth be told, instead of releasing a config file that reflects the changes that have been made which would be more appropriate than having 2,3,or 4 ETC versions of SMC floating around.


Why does someone re-release the entire fucking SMC ? Because some false sense of accomplishment will be felt?

You could easily have just released the affected PK3's / Changes been made to files in a nice neat "Drop it in and OVERWRITE" format, but instead its continuing to be a "HEY CHECK OUT 'MY' VERSION OF SMC, I uploaded the entire thing even though less than 25% or 35% of the SMC didnt change,and the largest portion of the SMC remained 100% intact......



Thats where everyone is getting pissed, basically its not needed,its drowning out the original SMC content and discusions,and just all around a shitty fn ordela.

People are pissed because we keep getting "Here is my entire re-envisioning of SMC, I really worked hard on this guys, so it deserves its own post/file download/self-identifying PRODUCT PLACEMENT, heehee.

As a quake single player who appreciates both Seven's and Attacue's work, I really see no point in some of the hostility shown in this thread.

Personally I think Attacue did a good job, and he gives proper credit, so why not just take what you like and leave what you don't like to others who may like it? Why must you crush what you don't like to ashes?

I'm not sure of the translation, but I think what you say is good. Now ask everyone else why they do not like it
