Remeber back in 2011 I had an idea that didn't work out to make a GPL quake client, I abandoned the project when I realized how much had to be done to achive a real GPL content back then.
Any way I made a nice fake pak file based on open quartz and some pk3 with maps from GPL realase baked without any textures in them so the content is GPL. The fun part is that it works quite nice with Darkplaces but it has no textures and models so if somebody would like to play Quake using those it needs some love from other releases out here
The maps here were build by Baker, also he provided the sources that are quite hard to find.
Those maps dont fit nice in mulitplayer client will download the server version because of size mismatch.
