This was made and posted by my cousin which Baker banned because he was sooooo fuckin sure of himself that this was me. Nicholas (Anubis) is in the military now and I have no way to get this file from him.

Who knows, maybe if Baker wouldn't have banned him he would still be a member and you could potentially get this file.

I would like that blend file please? Is that on Blenderswap or some where we can get it? ^_^

I had another approach to the Tardis, only got scrambled with the skin file.
For some reason one side has three door panels.
It can be solved by reimporting the base file on another angle.

You can upload the file at quaketastic.

are we going to see the tardis in quake soon?

it would be a cool replacement for the slip gate.

I modeled in the details, added a bunch of lights, and did a full render bake. It's not perfect but, this is still my first model (ver 3). I think I'm as done as I will ever be with this.

I did a bunch more. I reworked the entire texture to get rid of the sloppy white lines and modeled the light to be better than a box with images on each side. I don't really know what I'm doing. I just took some tutorials for blender and GiMP, and made the changes I thought would work for me.

Thank you. After doing the TARDIS, I think that Coke machine would be too easy. I actually chose the TARDIS because it wasn't just a box. It was tricky too. That image was put together very sloppy. I had to mark a lot of edge seams so sloppy white gaps wouldn't show up on the model. I think my next step will be to try and make the light look good.

    started a topic Tardis

    Tardis

I came across an image on google that was intended for printing, clipping and folding so, I decided to try my hand at modeling with it. I know the light on the top is not good but, I'm not good either so, it's perfect.

    My first model:
