    Those spawns look better but, I would make one more change. Darken the inside of the mouth. The teeth look cool but, they look like they are floating in front of the face. Maybe make it a little darker green around the edge of the teeth ("gums") too.

      Problem solved!! There was a dog_glow texture in DDS format inside the reforged .pk3, never noticed! Now it works

        thats peculiar but good to know, that darkplaces apparently prioritizes DDS over TGA,
        and that DDS is an exception to the alphabet-order load-order rule from darkplaces


        i didnt know btw that reforged used DDS
        .
        are you curious about what all there is out there in terms of HD content for quake?
