    Unrelated question, with the dark places engines do you know with Textures whether setting it at 3 or 0 is the higher quality setting

        Update for textures and RTlights are done. Before releasing them I need help with a thing: I'm changing a texture via script, window03, but I need to know the scale values. After this I'll upload the new stuff (also updated the gallery)

                  Half of your wishlist items can be done by simply replacing models with external ones. You should know already how to do that.
                  Flames and rain code can be used from SMC if you need/want to. There is a tutorial that shows exactly how to create rain for maps. So you should be able to do this as well.
                  The issues you are facing by "fixing floating packs" and "small bugs" are most probably DP related, arent they ? You know how to enable those gameplay fixes I assume.

                    Yes but I don't know with which models replace them. About coding, to me is like an alien language, and til now I was convinced that some stuff can be enabled only by having original source code (for example with torches). Yes, I can do Rain (thanks to your tutorial), I've put rain in a map (was lost unfortunately, but I have choosen a small map only for testing purposes) but how to remove the low poly rain in the start map? I have too much to learn yet

                          Oh now I recognize you, you are Mexx, you made Penumbra of Domination, Cassandra Calamity etc... great! Didn't know you were also involved with AoP. I like a lot your works, they are still Quake classics even since many years have passed. I've done some improvements to Mexx9 and 10 too but I have to update them since I'm not quite satistifed with the RTlights I've done for them.

                              Great! Heresy is one of my favourite maps. During that time was quite difficult to obtain a boxed copy of AoP here in Italy, so I've tried only a demo version included in a magazine. A friend of mine promised me a boxed copy (for collecting purposes), but I'm still waiting for it

                                it's an honor to have a chance to speak (write) to you. your mexx series were the first custom q1 levels i've played. literally, you are the reason why i got stuck with quake. penumbra of domination is a timeless classic gem.
