As it says it's a Alternative model. This is actually my next project. I am remodelling the Hammer next (which will be VERY true to the original). I made this as just a placeholder as I play SoA. Since the Thunderbolt/Shaft use the same ammo - why not have them be similar weapons?
Basic animation - it fires to the ground. I animated the lightning so when you melee a enemy it looks like it's electrocuting him - otherwise it just looked silly. Of course when you hit a wall it makes the Axe sound - but nothing I can do there.
g_model included which also I gave a electric effect too in the gloss texture. Basically as it rotates you will see electricity flow through some areas.
As I stated, I made this as a temporary model. It's mainly just a recolored version of my Plasma Launcher - I just added some more details to make them different from one another. However figured I'd share it regardless some may prefer it over the big Hammer.
