    aye, you can fix that by simply deleting the AD files from progs folder so that they wont override the HD models anymore.

    any existing replacement ammo-boxes are actually just md3 files with renamed file-extension, and there is thus no need to convert them.
    and all you would need to do is manually change the file-extension to mdl and move the files to progs folder.

    however..... AD's ammo-boxes are all centered-aligned models, while regular quake has its ammo-boxes all corner-aligned.
    so all available replacement ammo-boxes for quake are also corner-aligned to match the original ammo-boxes.



    meaning that all available HD-models for ammo would all need to be edited to align them to center to be usable in AD.
    otherwise the ammo-boxes will appear mis-aligned if used in AD.

    most other models in AD however are just simply renamed and most of them are not edited in any way,
    and getting HD replacement models and skins to work with those is just a matter of renaming the HD models/textures (and deleting the AD files)


    ive actually been busy doing exactly yesterday, and ill share some of them soon
    Has there been any update on this? I'm currently at the state where everything in AD looks absolutely amazing except for all these low-poly health and ammo pickups. They stick out like a sore thumb. xD

    I found the culprit - a Chrome extension, called Pace4Chrome, that displays a loading progress bar directly in the browser window (basically injects code into the web page).

    No worries about the sign-up.

    I have to manually approve you if you sign up, and I will but, I just wanted you to know so, if it takes me a lil time to get to it you don't start thinking I don't care or something. I try to check the registration logs twice a day and then make decisions on which sign-ups are spam.

    I'm not sure how you made that happen but, I just opened my site in chrome and it is perfect. Maybe you went to my site at the same time I was updating some plugins or something. Just FYI, Talisa does not update the QuakeOne version of this thread anymore due to a lack of confidence in the state and future of this site. However, Talisa and qazzaq update the NextGenQuake version of this thread constantly.

    I also made a mistake. Talisa has a lot of threads on my site regarding texture/model replacements. The link I posted is not for the AD stuff. Here is a complete list of all of her threads with the AD one on top.

    Hello everyone,

    I'm running into the same issue TheFragMan had a few pages back, where Quakespasm crashes with an error when I extract the pk3's (exactly which error I get depends on the map I'm trying to load, things like "armour.mdl has the wrong version number" or "(some other texture)'s height is more than 440", etc.) I'm completely at a loss as to what to do, or whether I even can fix this in the first place. Do these HD replacements just not work with Quakespasm? If not, then what engine should I be using instead?

    Also, the links listed in the post above mine remain dead, just in case anyone sees this who has the ability to reupload them.

    DOWNLOAD JAM2-WHITE + AD_AZAD HD TEXTURES

    NOTE: requires having BOTH IKwhite AND SheSP HD texture-packs present in your AD folder!
    you can find both in my HD textures for SP maps thread
