I like the second clip very much. It somehow reminds me of Tomes of Mephistopheles.

Small criticism is perhaps that your houses look very clean for such a horror inspired game, maybe go and ruin them a bit. Some mold and broken stuff perhaps. Your brick walls are also quite shiny.

thanks for your observations, I've been adding decals and changing the main texture (brick) for an aged wall and now the "hotel" looks much better

Are those palmtrees next to pines?

yeah , seems strange but the scenary is based in a specific abandonated hotel on the hills in our geographic region, where are palmtrees and pines. the climate is temperate but humid, in winter snow falls but strangely palms survive. The palm trees are very old and apparently are hybridizations (not naturally, were planted by the old owners of the hotel as decoration).
