in other news... made a little update to the skin
made the glow a lil bit more subtle and added a slightly dark line at the edge, and i tried playing around a bit with adding some shading above the eye from the original skin


nothing big, just some slight updates

yeah the original texture did have that with the darker grading around the eyes, but it got lost kinda while editing
ill try playing around with trying to add the darker gradient back around the eyes later

I like this one - the changes are much more subtle. Maybe the eyes should not glow on the gib though.

second look: Maybe the eye color should even be darkened a bit. Due to there being no shadows for his brow or anything to truly indicate an eye, it looks like there is a hole in his face and the sky is trapped in his head. I understand you did not make this model.

Can you add a darker gradient in the eye around the edges? Like my avatar (sorta) you may notice the bottom right is dark and lightens as it reaches the upper left. Can you use that same method from the outer edges to the center of the eye? A subtle amount of contrast between the two extremes of the gradient will go a real long way.
