{surprised face} I certainly didn't expect a Happy Birthday thread. That's awesome! Thank you!

I spent the day with my Father. I treated him to a $100ish Sushi lunch at Sake Cafe and then we played a few games of pool. It's kinda funny cause the closest place to play pool was actually at my job. When I got there I realized the boss had a new slicer and a huge metal shelf in the back of his truck so, on my birthday, I show up at work and carry the heaviest slicer in the world into the kitchen, then go back out and carried the shelf in too.

To make things a little bit funny, I was/am actually wearing a shirt with a big Superman S on it.

I could hear my boss saying "Yeah...don't worry about it. I'm totally paying y'all to sit around. Michael's got it. It's only his day off and Birthday."

LOL

I didn't really mind unloading the stuff, though. That slicer was heavy as a MF'er though. That S on my shirt wasn't helping at all, either.

It's cool, I'm next monday and I've had loads of people saying happy birthday to me already.

So maybe it's just a hip new trend to celebrate birthdays on days around a week apart from the actual birthday xD
