  • MUSIC!! What have you been digging/bought recently

Don't be shy let em have it--the community that is. Personnally music is a huge part of my life; since i work graveyard shifts i listen to at least 30 hours of music per week just while im getting paid. Any times a good time just throw on a cd and relax.

    Anyways

Im always digging my favorite band, some canadian boys outta ontario:
    Protest The Hero

I went out yeserday and spent my HMV giftcards that i got for x!mas and picked up
    DIO - Holy Diver (Live)
Avenged Sevenfold - City Of Evil
Jay Z - Vol.3 Life And Times Of S. Carter

I bought my bro the new Tool album and an Offspring Greatest Hits CD. I also burned him my entire Pearl Jam playlist. My bro and I have similar tastes in music. Anything but Country I always say!

Lately I've been listening to a lot of Great White and Duran Duran:

Great White - Shot in the Dark
      Great White - Psycho City
Duran Duran - The Wedding Album
Duran Duran - Astronaut (one of the best albums I've ever listened to)

      I've also been listening to:

10 Years - The Autumn Effect
      Hinder - Extreme Behavior
Evans Blue - The Melody and the Energetic Volume of Nature
      Audioslave - Revelations
Prodigy - The Fat of the Land
Gretchen Wilson - Here for the Party
Gretchen Wilson - All Jacked Up

Anything that is funky/jazzy/groovy for me.. unless i need to blow off some steam.. gimme metal then (pantera would come to mind)
i listen to swissgroove streaming radio a lot as it provides a steady flow of pretty good (easy listening) music that works very nice as background noise without me having to worry about it, or if a realy good song comes up ill pump up the volume..

I've been listening to some Internet radio feeds lately. Open up WinAmp's Shoutcast listings page, select Alternative genre, and the first couple of channels are pretty good. 1.fm, 181.fm, The Edge, and X100 NetRock Radio.

Besides that I've been listening to the following a lot:

Evans Blue - The Melody and the Energetic Volume of Nature
10 Years - The Autumn Effect
Army of Anyone - Army of Anyone (singer of Filter and band of STP)
30 Seconds to Mars - A Beautiful Lie

And always have Creed, Alter Bridge, and Finger Eleven on my playlist.

I listen to IDM stations in winamp, but right now I'm busier making music than listening.

I'll post some new tracks soon on my myspace page.

pretty much Jomi Massage only, for months. mainly her danish album, but also other stuff.

              what a voice man.

              www.jomimassage.dk

another danish gem: Sara Grabow. Go here

              http://indielaundry.blogspot.com/200...-mp3-from.html

and if you like singer-songwriter stuff even remotely, download "Stars", ignore the crappy sound quality, and indulge yourself in that voice.

also good: www.morningsiderecords.dk and click on "media".

Something I'd like to hear more of is Dokken.

I will find you... it's only a matter of time.

Strangely, I've been torn between Grindcore ( Job For A Cowboy comes to mind..) and techno/trance ( Infected Mushrooms..)

Lately the MarsVolta have come to the front or close to it of my music rotation. I have 4 albums of theirs but i usually go through phases of it. I'm totally digging them recently.

And i dunno even know what to classify this next band as... there myspace says rock but i dunno maybe ...Light Grindcore or just drum and bass. Sounds sorta like death from above 1979 just for the fact that its a two peice band. Anyways there called Jucifer and a hot chick does the vocals(bonus) and plays the guitar//bass(SUPER Bonus)

I went and picked up their latest cd release yesterday. Its cool, 70% of the tracks are worthwhile.
