    I didn't trigger anything. You don't need an internet connection to play a LAN game.

    My statement is that serving a Quake game off your HOME INTERNET CONNECTION sucks and it does suck.

    Internet != LAN.

    Anyway, back on topic: Internet > LAN because you can quit playing if you are bored.

    So while you guys all have to fight your anti-matter counterparts, me and my evil twin will be drinking a beer laughing at you guys ...

      And you can't quit in a LAN? Oh because it's so fun that you never get bored? Or would people beat you up if you quit?

      ;o

            Internet = LAN
            LAN quake is fun during the computer class when there's nothing to do
            Internet is fun because you don't get bullshit from your teacher

              LAN.
              Why: U can do all the moves and all players ping the same.

              Internet: if the server runs on sys_ticrate 0.025 and u ping below 50 ,then it comes very close to a lan game.

              Most servers still run the default 0.05 sys_ticrate.
              My servers for the gamers:
              bigfoot.servequake.com / damage.servequake.com

                I would say Internet. Although LAN is far superior, you can't find Quake LAN's unless it's a home game.
