ADMIN! How to setup a server URL (null)

How come theres no link for the "How to setup a server" on the bottom left of the Quakeone.com site? Theres a hyperlink but the URL leads to HTTP:///

I was looking foward to checking that out but it leads to nothing?

It's on the to do list. It is an important link and I've received 3 private messages wondering the same thing.

It'll get done soon, probably next week. It'll include the basics plus where to notify when you have the server up so people know about it, etc.

I'll add that the information here is pretty solid ...

But for a true dedicated server there are extra things involved that I need to document (port forwards, etc.)

I thought it was simple as paying a month fee? You mean they don't setup the server for you?

Some people would prefer hosting their own server on their own uber connection.
