Ok, i have a QW server running, ping of other ppl is 26, so think its nice.

Its a DM/CTF/Rocketarena server

1. 150 KB/SEC upload = not sufficient for a Quake server.

2. With CTF, the 3Wave maps have flags in the maps ... think of the flag like a Megahealth or a Pent. DM6 doesn't have a flag in the map, but the 3Wave ones do. There is a utility to re-compile flags into the map, but it is a pain. I am sure some ppl have the re-compiled maps so you don't have to mess with it.

3. c:\quake\wqpro.exe -game crctf -dedicated 8 +map ctf1

... is the typical style of a server command line. wqpro.exe is ProQuake, which is the only engine that really can act as a quality server for NQ.

Ok, im trying to get a CRCTF server up. Im not sure if my connex will do but i will try. (150KB/SEC upload).

I can connect local, but when i try to connect on my wan ip, my dedicated server says :

SV_READCLIENTMESSAGE : NET_GetMessage failed.

someone know what to do ?

that's problem 1, problem 2 is :

I can start a server, ( can compile the right files) and in the 3wave ctf lvl's i get flags, but i dont get them for example in DM6. Someone have the right maps for my server with the flags/keys ?

The Jit CTF mod was great, the only person I can think who would have a copy of it would be Spec (he was pestering me to put a CTF server up a few months ago and mentioned using JIT). When he comes online I will ask him. Fingers crossed...

hey.. i dont have that mod but maybe frenzy (or someone else) can hook u up with the 3wave or cr-ctf mod

being a dutchy myself i'd say any new dutch server (weather its DM/CTF/whatever mod) is cool for me!
