Every night this week, seems > 7pm to 4am I have logged on to ctf.clanhdz.com and there has been a game in progress. That leads to a 4 on 4 by the next game -> into a 5 on 5 etc!!! WOW!

It wasn't even a permanent ban, it was a ban until the map was changed. The fact that Monster still says it was "his friend" who left mid game is still pretty funny though. It wasn't banworthy, but had you been there Frenzy, you would have been thoroughly annoyed. The point of the thread was that we are getting a lot of pickup games on ctf.clanhdz.com, hopefully it stays that way.

By the way, where have you been Rampage? Haven't seen you playing ctf in a while.

It was a temp ban, I asked about it when it happened, and it was pretty much a slap on the wrist. Monster, dont get all bent over it, just try to contribute to the game as much as possible, even if you are losing stick in there. It's annoying when someone leaves mid game because the match goes into auto pause. I think your friend left, then PAUSE... 2 minutes later yo left ... PAUSE... (i guess u went looking for your friend), then you came back... and I think, vis pushed you out. Only Visine and I have the admin code so between the two of us I doubt CTF will fall victim to a dictatorship.

monster gets very emotional. I remember we lost one clan match and monster spazzed out and disappeared from quake for 6 months. he's a great player but has poor self-control. good personality tho. It doesn't seem that he's done anything worth a ban, at least not anything that anyone seems able to point to. it would be funny if, just as ctf becomes popular again after years in the grave, it falls victim to poor adminning

because we were losing and it wouldnt matter anyways if i stayed cause we had like 5 mins left in the game.

and Claya wasn't me like I said, it was my friend from school, i gave him my quake folder so thats why he had the same binds and shit

In Monster's defense, he did nothing on the server the night Vis banned him. Crackdog simply said "WILL YOU BAN MONSTER" and Vis did it. This was, indeed, Vis being a shitty admin, and you know it Brian! There was no logical reason for Monster getting that ban, period.

In vis's defense.. Monster has a poor track record. He comes in under alias names and has purposely fucked over our games. When we do start a game with him, he gets killed a few times and leaves the game 5-10 min in and leaves us with uneven teams, he's done this multiple times.

There is a little more to this then meets the eye.
