Papasmurf, Just give me your contact info and you're in. Currently the signups are at quakeone.com/tourney. Several people have asked about it since we assigned teams, so we are going to take the new people and assign them to existing teams. If you read through the other post on here you can see how the league has developed and where we are going with it.

This basically is a pre-season run. We are running a league, not a single elimination tournament. I only have it setup as a single elimination for the tweeking of the league. There won't be a "champion", just a winner of the practice round which means nothing

Hey folks,
I'm just adding my two cents here but isn't this going to be a little controversial? I know as soon {if} as both tourneys are done there will then be two champions. Uh-oh I thought. I hope one tournament overshadows the other. Why not look to football for the answer [I watched the cowboy game tonight]. Have a preseason like every other tournament in the world, at any game. A couple of scrims to knock out kinks so we can too in our lineups. Especially so we can fit out schedules on our own teams. Games good, few games awesome, a tournament? Idk what do you think?

I might mention that the Rum server isnt running the current version of crctf.
I also might mention that I will be out of town until wednesday, so I wont be able to play until that night at the earliest....
