So, in an effort to try and get some of the other ctf maps played, I am creating and modifying *.ent files for some of the lesser played ctf levels. All suggestions are welcomed.
So far I have modified ctf6 and ctf2m7.
ctf6 changes:
Changed middle green armor to red armor
Changed middle grenade launcher (in quad) to super nailgun
Added rocket launcher to both bases
Added yellow armor to both bases
ctf2m7 changes:
moved flag back to where invisibility was (at two sided teleporter)
disabled teleporter at new flag position
added yellow armor and grenade launcher to new flag room
added grenade launcher to side yellow armor room
removed both quads from top of bases
replaced pentagram with quad
added mega health to middle water opposite new quad area
changed the exit points of all the teleporters in the level in order to increase time between flags
the next maps I want to work on is ctf2m5 and ctf2m6
R00k, is there a way we can upload these ent files to the ctf servers so we can test these changes out? Also, i already did some changes to ctf2m6 a few years back, and you can see evidence of this by the presence of a Quad on the map (there is normally no quad on ctf2m6). I seem to have lost the ctf2m6.ent file I used to make these changes. Could you grab that ent file off of the HDZ server and email it to me? thanks.

The modifications have been made and the changes have been implemented on the [edit: HDZ ctf servers]. Note: these are server side changes only, there is no need to download new maps.
The following changes were made to ctf2m5 (Disciple War Grounds):
Rocket launchers were added to each base
Ammo was distributed throughout the map so that the ammo is symmetric
Supernailgun replaced the Supershotgun and Nailgun in Blue Base and Red Base
Supershotgun was added to the rafters with Quad in both bases
Nailgun was added to front entrance of each base
A third supernailgun was added to center of map on lower bridge.
The following changes were made to ctf2m7 (Gloom Castles):
Flags were moved back to teleporter room where ring of shadows was
Teleporter in new flag room was disabled
Yellow armor and grenade launcher were added to new flag room
Ring of shadows was moved to "L" shaped bridge in inside base
Quads on top of each base were removed
One quad exists and is located in old pentagram room
megahealth was added to under water of center area
Pent room teleporters point to Center of map
Top of base teleporters point to side YA rooms
teleporter underneath "L" shaped bridge points to top of "L" shaped bridge
The following changes were made to ctf6 (Vertigo):
Rocket launchers were added to bases
Yellow armors were added to bases
Central green armor was replaced with Red armor
Grenade launcher inside Quad room was replaced with supernailgun
After some discussion, the following changes were suggested to be made:
Change the Red Armor back to Green Armor on ctf6 (this armor was just outside blue base).
Change the yellow armors in the new flag room of ctf2m7 to green armors (there was just too much armor on this level, otherwise).Last edited by PapaSmurf; 08-23-2008, 11:18 AM.

If you use Qrack and use the spot command it will output your location.
so if u did
] echo red armor
] spot
then it would output a nice console to save to condump elder-ent.txt
