(cd if ur around saturday night maybe we can squeeze a game in here against vis/seabass)

i would rather play at 1 location consistently. Reason for this is that i ping 45-55 at chi-host but i Ping 10-15 at ctf.quakeone.com.

The problem for me is that i guess i am just not good at adapting that fast, it takes me a few games to get use to that lan ping. The timing of the grapple, and the lg gun mainly. You guys are prolly like "ohhh poor lan ping complaining about how low his ping is"....

but it does make a difference at least fo me. If you chasecam me you will see me release the grapple early or grapple a fucking wall for no reason... just dumb stuff that can cost you the game.

we'll figure something out with the servers. maybe, whichever server has the lowest ping for the highest pinging player - if that makes sense.

of course, since losty pings 20 to game-host he can just carry me.

yes we do have a good team, im fortunate to have ramp on my team, he is our mid tier but almost borderline top tier player, so we almost have 2 top tier players...

i feel bad for cd cuz he has to play with the worst player. every other team has a mid tier player but him. lol


I dont care what servers it gets played on. I ping 70 at chicago and 100 to hdz. I have a better chance at being a mid teir player at chicago.. the problem is I dont have admin to hdz and wont be able to prevent someone from screwing up the game. if vis is around.. it prolly wont be a problem tho.

by the way.. the teams are incredible.. I had a second look..every team has a stud and a mid tier player..

Is it going to be server choice as well? like.. our map at chi ctf.. and the other team can choose HDZ? that could become problematic down the line if you're playing 2 matches at the same time on different servers..

yes...like i said..we effectively have 2 sevrers now.. so while one group is playing. then 10 oclock people might be able to get a game going a 9 with dfg

the new server is pretty nice. but, 80 ping's 80 ping. i'm playing my matches @ hdz (kimp-factor notwithstanding).

can we make our game a little later on sunday night? I'm west coast... i'm not sure if the other players will be up that late but i was hoping 10 PM PST. If not, i'll try to make it. Let me know first if it can be rescheduled to later though.
