There were very few demos that were not sent or at least posted on the forum. Mono let me help run, so I'm partially to blame, as I didn't keep up with the news post as things began to dwindle. Disco is as well to blame, as he was an official. I also offered to keep the website up to date and help, but Monoxide being who he is (I won't call you names on the forums but I would in the game), wouldn't let me. My apologies to the rest of you for not keeping up MYSELF, as I was in the middle of a move, I have 2 kids, etc (we all have responsibilities).

Big ups though for getting the community more active, it's led to a lot of good times.

And this tournament can still be finished, no mater how long it takes, there's not that many games left. However, I'm super-lpb now so I'd have to ping up. Or maybe I wouldn't because it's not entirely my fault the tournament didn't get finished before I moved

Thanks CD for updating the post.

Mono: every match I did not play in, I recorded for the most part unless frenzy or someone else was already. I sent to r00k because he has website space to host files, and I forgot how to give them to you and couldnt ask cause you werent on. (I know you just had a kid, so im not saying anything negative.) Just seemed giving to r00k was the right move.

I say lets move on from any negativity in the past tournament, we learned from it so it can only make this one stronger!

As far as who runs the tournament, that dont matter to me as long as its consistent.

I posted all the demos I didnt play in, I think there was a time 2 sundays ago that I fell asleep while waiting to play, and my demos autorecorded while i was just stationary. But rambo had sent me the demos and I had posted on the thread...Index of /qrack/q1ctf/demos

the problem with the website is that people played games and never sent me demos. I had no stats or a record of who won what.

I'd argue that the last tourney went well. The only person who really never showed was bosh and we replaced him with skillit, who showed up every weekend. Heck, my team played every one of the teams. It's just a matter of having a team who is reliable and making sure you have a way to contact each other.

I don't do websites, so I can't update a website weekly, but I have no problems laying down the rules in this thread and organizing it. If anyone has input, throw it in this thread.

I never said you stopped playing, you simply stopped posting in the forums and keeping the website / players up to date as to what matches were going to happen when.. etc.. you did that for the first 2-3 weeks and things ran very well.. after that it was literally like playing pickup games.. people also raised several concerns which were not addressed at all .. so I guess if you want to run a tourney these things have to be taken care of.. if you had lots of responsibilities to handle you should have asked someone else to handle the tournament and perhaps just done the website aspect of it.. etc..

this happened last time when you tried to run a tourney which was why I was hesitant to join this one.. about half way through you stopped taking care of it.. and this is not all on you.. other people didn't show as well that signed up (Bosh for example, myself after a little while).. you showed up for all the matches.. but I'm talking about the online organization..

Running a tournament isn't an easy job.. the fact that you got people more active in CTF and regularly playing is commendable.. nonetheless.. this is why I asked whoever organize this one to stick with it until the end..
