I just did a basic cmd>ping to the server and it couldn't be reached, but I'll take a proper look when I get back to my pc in about an hour.

If I can't connect I'll just assume that it's down for a bit and I missed the test.

If you are still stuck then it may help to see if you can do a tracert to see how far along the path to that server you are getting and hopefully where you are getting blocked.

I was gone a lot longer than planned

but ended up with a new old tv to play my dreamcast games on
some skullcandy earphones I'll inevitably hate because they're cheap and they're skullcandy

and guinness, so I might be productive tonight

but I'll test the server in a short while, my ping will probably be quite high because my mother watches stuff on netflix all day now I have an account and it seems to put +200 ping onto all of my games

So the server bigfoot (euroquake) is up again !
The dns bigfoot.quake1.net works again.

The server is in sweden atm.
