What is your ping in my server?

Was able to connect, Where is this server located? What connection type is this running off of? Seem's to me the ping is very jumpy, im getting 140-200, if the server was stable the ping would probably sit at 140-150 and not jump so much. Im connecting from Florida, USA

Mr.burns said it too, 25-190 ping, so obviously the server is not stable.

Can you connect to turing.lesalab.net:26000 and move around a little and tell me the ping?

Ping 15 for me , server ip seems to be Italy.
You should add a timelimit of 30 or something to your server , because to long on one level when nobody is playing will make it laggy like now...

Do I need to add the server to the quakeonelist , server is here to stay?

No, I do not think it will stay. The ping for most people is too high.

Just what we needed, Pol with virtually no ping at all
I've just pinged a rock solid 28 from England [I can hear Pol shaking from here ], which for me at least is the lowest ping outside of the SPC server some years back.
There doesn't seem to be any of the obvious map selection options though (eg, levels, custom, vote-map). Custom maps tend to be BIG in europe so it might be worth considering depending of course on what you had in mind for the server

I have no plans at all, I started it because of a whim. I actually did not play Quake MP in the last 10 years or so... I am open to suggestions though.
