Wolfenstein:New Order

So, anyone played the new Wolfenstein already? Is it worth it or is it another modern shooter clone, because from what I saw and read, it looks like great, like shooters are heading to some old-school form? What striked me today morning, however, was that it only runs on 64-bit operating system??!!

I hope it's good.

I hope it's better than the last Wolfenstein that came out on PS3. I got it with high hopes and I found myself hitting loading screens left and right which really took all the fun out of the game for me. I love the games but like was said up there somewhere games seem to be moving toward the same elements as all the other new ones out. The way New Order looked on the previews it kinda seems like a slightly mellowed out Killzone 2 or 3 with Nazi's.

So far as I've played, he's straight. Hemay yet turn out to be bi , but so far he's straight.

It's a good, solid shooter. Nazis, OTT hardware - it's hard to go wrong. I definitely recommend it.

The only thing that really bugs me is the save point system - which sucks if you have to start a complex stealth sequence at the start each time.

I got it and look forward to playing it but my PS3 died right before it came.

The graphics in this game are beautiful... the megatexturing really does make a big difference.

Duude its a shooter... you shoot things with guns.

The story however is not quite as bad as in games like CoD or BF. Also your health only regenerates up to 20 and beyond that its pretty much any other shooter.

There is burly dudes, evil space nazis and lots of explosions. If you like shooters, then you will like it.

I played for about an hour and a half the moment after it released last night. It's good. not amazing. but quite good so far and I'm enjoying it.

It's much, much better than RAGE or the new ROTT, for example.

I've read several reviews and they all reflect my feelings on it so far.

It also runs much better than I had anticipated.

It's running on a Q9650 @ 4GHz, 8gb of ram and a gtx 670 and I haven't seen it go below 60fps at max settings at 1080p. Frankly, that's pretty bizarre, considering people with greater CPUs are not having such a great time. I think I just lucked out, the game must like this architecture or maybe just raw ghz.

I feel it will end up being a pretty good game I would recommend to fps players.

You're right, looks like it requires 64 bit Windows 7 or Windows 8. Interesting.

I'm looking forward to playing it later in the year when i can get it for a little cheaper and all the bugs are worked out. I read that it's having the same issues Rage had when it launched, with the texture pop in and crashes.
