E3 2014 Expectations

I always get excited for whatever new video games and hardware they'll be announcing at E3 every year. Even if now-a-days they all seem to leak before the actual conferences, they're able to keep some stuff on lockdown that is a surprise and it makes the whole thing worth it.

Do you guys have an expectations or are you looking forward to maybe hearing about something this year?

I'm waiting to see what Nintendo is going to announce considering the Wii U is doing pretty bad. I'm really hoping they're going to show off a beautiful 2d metroid game for it.

Microsoft has always been a bit boring for me because, besides new hardware last year, it's always about halo and gears of war.

Sony should be more interesting because they have a lot more cool exclusive characters and games than microsoft. I'd like to hear about where The Last Guardian is at.

Nintendo must relinquish the 'Parenting Role' of policing what types of games do or don't make it to their console. Most notably because,well, Parents do the Parenting.

Agreed, yea Destiny looks cool for sure! This year did end up being pretty bland, not a ton of surprised really. I few cool exclusive games for each console but nothing mind blowing. Except for maybe that Dead Rising 3 DLC, The Hyper Ultra Turbo Championship Edition DX Alpha Dead Rising 3, or whatever it was called.

Hoping against hope that they'll drop some kind of hint at a new Golden Sun game... sigh.

That would be great to get a new Golden Sun, but I wonder when that will happen?

after the doom trailer, im just waiting for quake con lol.

I really hope we get to see some gameplay soon. I always hate just seeing CG trailers because they basically tell you nothing of how the game actually plays.
