We're giving away a million Steam keys for Dino D-Day, with Bundle Stars | PC Gamer
It's a pretty rubbish game from what I remember, but I can see the appeal.
Enjoy. (They'll be doing these for a few weeks.)

I've been seeing a lot of this and ideas similar to it. One of these days you'll need a facebook account to like facebook so you can get a facebook account.... The weird thing is, I know an incredible amount of people and a notably large percent of them seem to avoid facebook at all costs. If the percentage of my friends/acquaintances that do not use facebook could be accurately figured as some kind of national average, then facebook must be awfully small these days.Edit : Disclaimer - You'll need a facebook account to like their page so that you can get the free key.
@sexy taco - lol...you are a communication artist. I await the day that you need 2 or more periods to express yourself.

Speak for yourself bro, I'm more than confident that not everyone knows these things.
I didn't know Dino D-Day has lineage leading back to any ID Tech engine, short of Source being in that lineage with a few stops here and there in between the original engine and where its ended up today.
Good call OMac, when I read about the description of Dino D-Day, I also noted that its due for a massive graphics engine over haul, so anyone who said 'Game from 2011 with subpar Graphics compared to games in 2014? No thanks lol' should re-consider.
whether or not we get this update for free is unknown, but I'm betting YES, WE DO GET IT FOR FREE. Simply because of this, game is from 2011, it's due for a huge overhaul via Source Engine, and whats the best way for drum up the knowledge and get the word out? For 1 week give away the game, when the masses give it a whirl and go tell their friends "You gotta get this game! Im a fn T-REX! (Ima fn SHARK!)" , sales pick up due to word of mouth or reviews online, etc.Last edited by Mindf!3ldzX; 07-06-2014, 10:22 PM.

Actually, if I wanted I could have written a post about how it's a game that exists thanks to the success of the quake engine through half life, and talk about all of that
but we all know the history there ;P
(this seemed like an amusing point)

this thread will suffice...front page seems like the cover photo for newbsUnless the community drums up a poll and the YAYS out weight the NAYS for wanting Free Game news gracing the frontpage of Quakeone.com , I won't bother front paging non-Quake related game stuff,Free Games included.

but I just thought against it, since it'd probably be rewritten and posted to the front page (not sure why, I just seem to presume it would, if it were going to be on the front page)
I'll continue to inform members just as you did here, cuz whats free to me is free to you!
FYI, when a member of Quakeone.com makes a post , and I toss it on the front page,it will nearly always link to the particular members post who brought it to our attention. I am most definitely fallible ,so I might slip and fuck that up on occasion, but I strive to give credit where it's due,and the easiest way of doing that is simply linking to the post where it was brought to my attention.
I also have a really bad case of C.R.S. (can't remember shit haha)
