    Saw some gameplay footage online...I've never wanted to upgrade my PC so bad. Looks legit. I about pissed myself when I saw the chainsaw in action. Fuck.Yes.

    I'm really enjoying it. Its definitely fun and reminds me of doom/quake. The soundtrack really adds to it. Love the soundtrack.

    It did have a sort of scary atmosphere like DOOM 3 did due to the sound effects and some of the ambient music, but the gameplay was all about classic DOOM + new elements.

    I really like the SP and agree with this.

    For the first few levels, I thought it was strange that everything looked like Doom3 (more details of course, but very similar art style), but did not feel like it. The new Doom is about shooting lots of evil things in quick succession, not about being scared by noises while sneaking through dark corridors (because you are too dumb to attach your flashlight to your gun).
