I remember buying Quake when it was brand new from 1-800-idgames. I believe it was 50 or 60 dollars, and I had to pay my sister cash to get it because I was too young to get a credit card...

I wonder how many times I've copied my copy from one computer to the next... it's just like baby photos, I'm sure.

Thought you'd get this (not really).

I remember running Quake on 320MB harddrive with only 20MB free, I used to have to remove "the other game" on my pc to play quake and then switch back by removing quake.

lol i still remember having to run games off of 3,5" floppy-disks cuz our hard-drive was to small to have games on it, lol

and i once put doom on a really old pc by using like, 20 floppy's or so to move doom in split parts

                          .
are you curious about what all there is out there in terms of HD content for quake?
                          > then make sure to check out my 'definitive' HD replacement content thread! <
everything that is out there for quake and both mission-packs, compiled into one massive thread

I forgot about the sale. Oh well, I'm sure I paid for quake legitimately in the past somewhere along the lines.
