Even posts here where people tell me shit I don't want to hear or believe in and I "quit". I didn't quit jack shit but putting it here. Actually, I've grown to like having a mini quake-verse on my computer that exists nowhere else, period. Maybe one day it will all come together and I'll post it here with the disclaimer that you could of had it a decade ago if you ever stopped discouraging me. Only 8 more years to wait.

gnounc, yes you are correct. When I was bored with nothing better to do one day,fuck it why not check up on the mhquake blogspot. It was jam packed with updates and the such I had been missing, tons of reading material I presumably observed MH enjoying himself excessively tinkering with DirectQ/DirectQ II , and I enjoyed the updates and reporting back about my findings.

Investing that much time to simply just 'dump the whole thing' ? I liken that to MadGypsy scrapping every bit of his Parsing Delimiters project that has been keeping him occupied. Goodluck with that,I don't know very many people who will actively invest excessive amount of time (spare time,mind you) just to flush the toilet.

For fun, I will make more arguments toward clues that she is MH.

Yesterday - as in before. It's a very subtle clue that hints there was a past here. Even her profile says:

"Yesterday's news. Tomorrows fish and chips paper"

This is a reference to how "her" past can be re-established under another guise and possibly even re-purposed. "News" is also a clue, as if there was something to speak of in the past. This is probably a reference to DirectQ. Actually "fish and chips" paper is also a clue. Would you be eating fish and chips off of a news paper at a restaurant? Probably not. This is to imply a value of "home" or a place which is familiar.

As you can see, my deduction skills are absolutely superb. I think it's clear that yesterday is MH. I regret to blow his cover but, I am driven by puizzles and unfortunately incapable of denying them.

Maybe yesterday is MH. Read what he wrote and tell me it is impossible. It may just be a coincidence but his words can easily be perceived to be telling you in "code" that he is MH. yesterday seems to know his stuff with QC and engines and he came from nowhere. Where did this information even come from?

Well, yes, I guess that her words could be taken as trying to help myself disappear. And yes, it's true that I know quite a lot. Knowledge that can pretty much only come from years of experience.

But quite honestly? I'd rather leave the engine coding to people who have a much higher understanding than I do.

Also, I don't think that MH ever dabbled in QuakeC. I think he's far too sensible to use janky scripting languages. I mean, he ported his engine to C++, just so that he didn't have to use C...

I'm not sure I'd want you to. You'd enjoy it far too much...

MH is one of my hero's. I still use DirectQ exclusively for Quake.
