Are the Euro FFA servers still going?

It's always been a good feeling to drop in every once and a while and see people still playing. This will always be the greatest game I have ever played.

I would be on more, but my connection is pretty bad to a lot of the servers. There aren't a lot of good UK servers these days and my ping to EU servers has been a bit rubbish. But I'll probably be on polarite's servers more often starting today. :v

If it was not for being an OTR truck driver and having this shitty U-verse service i would be on more often. If quake can last until 2025 when im hopefully going to retire i will be on 24/7 ;]

No. I never knew zildjan was TTC-Smurf. Most people have thought I was one of the Undead Smurfs, but that is not the case either.

2-3 ctf pickup games a week, 4-5 pickup games of ca per week, they randomly occur and last an average of 2 hours or so......people just don't want to spend the time idling on an empty server anymore in the hopes of someone joining cause lets face it, not a very large pool of people willing/capable of joining....ive played/heard about 3 or 4 dm games in the last 3 weeks or so, and most have been 2v2.

But in my experience, it's been off/on lately for CA/DM/CTF. Shmack is always lively, and sometimes bigfoot,

Yeah, I know I can check who's playing now. I was really trying to ask about the general pulse of the q1 community. Like, are ppl playing DM games or CA games on a regular basis. Or are ppl playing on the flanders server daily?

Not a real fan of rune quake, so I can take it or leave it.

i dun play online often cuz i prefer SP and am not exactly the competitive type.
when i do play online its always coop with the Rquake coop mod


if i play its mostly on the polarite's server : flanders.quake1.net:26001

he's situated in belgium which lies right next to netherlands where i live,
so i always get high ping when playing on his servers
