Quake Advent Calendar at Quaddicted

I was hoping someone would notice and post in this forum but I was disappointed.

We are having a Quake-themed advent calendar at https://www.quaddicted.com/ where each day someone from the Quake community highlights something. So far we had a fantastic QW 4on4 final, how Daz got into mapping, how Vondur got custom Quake content during sowjet winter and why everyone who likes Quake faithful should check out QuakeForge.

It would rock if someone could keep this thread updated. Also, the idea was to use these 24 days to promote the various aspects of Quake to a greater audience, so please share the posts in other forums, websites, with friends etc!
