    Looking good everyone, wish I could help out a little in some way....I like the 4:20 start time, atleast I always know what I'm doing around than. I'm not sure if I'm playing or just watching, should be fun either way! I can't figure the stupid time thingy out, I'm here on the west coast? Happy Hunting!

If you're going to do this on a Friday that may not work for people who have jobs... aka me I don't get home till 4:30pm CST during the work week.

    No offense taken sir
    Friday, Saturday, personally I'm happy either way. The suggestion of a Friday was in response to a suggestion to me, and the time was partly to ensure their was some admin support around if needed
    You can't please everyone but it's a fair comment concerning work commitments. With that in mind perhaps a Saturday would be more acceptable to the contestants.

    Kind regards

    BST is a slight change in time (GMT + 1 hour) for the summer period in Britain. Personally I don't see the point of it but hey what ya gonna do?

    If I'm reading it correctly, if we started at 10pm BST, that would be something along the following lines...

    California = 2pm
    Colorado = 3pm
    Texas = 4pm
    florida = 5pm
    Novascotia = 6pm

    Holland (peg) = 11pm
    Belgium (Pol) = 11pm

    I'll post something clarifying the actual times, dates, etc shortly.

    So no one shows up an hour late like I did, can we get this fat elephant out of the room? HEH...4:20AM CST = add 5 hours and you got GMT time. I think thats how this works.

    IDK,I just know GMT failed me last time.

    Convert: Central Time to GMT

    I looked at this page,completely abandoned ship. I'll let someone who's familiar with GMT break it into some lamen terms haha. GG Europeans !

    Thanks WL.
    At the moment I am waiting to confirm the details of dates, times, round, etc with Pol and Peg so they are on hand to make sure things go smoothly, but it's likely to be on a Friday or Saturday night starting at about 9pm BST (GMT+1) so that's probably around late afternoon/early evening in good old sunny Florida
    As a test we will use the random port (26010) on the New York Server (newyork.servequake.com) and I plan to get that swapped over to plain RuneQuake tonight/tomorrow, after which you guys can hopefully make sure you can connect to it and things like the teleporters and alt weapons work as they should. Once we're happy, that will become port 26000 (the main FFA tourney port) for the night of the tourney. So hopefully it will be fairly seamless to you guys.

    Kind regards

    Monty

    Hey mindz, I'm very rusty and the roster looks like a good battle. Even the fellas at tx.quake give me a hard time, but all in good fun.
    Next tourney should be ihoc mod, I miss those days.
    I'm honed in as of lately! A IHOC tournament would be crazy bad ass, just know I'm an entirely different Quaker now days I haven't hooked a player and set them on fire with +Jet in ages, rofl! after Monty's tournament hits the ground wheels spinning and we get this behind us, I'll attempt at beating the rugs and see if any IHOC Quakers fall out.

    So far the count would include active quakers ; SmokeJ,HydrO,EzJack,Mindzy
    4's not bad in 2014!

    Welcome aboard, I'll add you to the signup list. I think Mindzy may have played in that tournament so you will be in familiar company.

    Please note that The following may change, but at present we intend to temporarily use a port from the New York Server (newyork.servequake.com) for the tourney, and to make things a little more challenging will play on 4 rounds on custom maps. The maps will be announced shortly and easy downloads will be provided.
    We will try and make the settings mirror Shmack if at all possible so it should feel familiar to most. I will be trying to set up the tourney server for testing in the next day or so, real life permitting, and will then try to tweak it so it's as optimal as I can make it bearing in mind I'm no Quake expert, then I'll hand it over to much more learned ppl than I such as Peg and the mighty Polarite

    More info to follow shortly.

    Kind regards

    Monty
