  • complete console command list

I started looking on google and went through a few different websites. Anyways I remember this one command but I dont remember how it goes. Its something "smooth" smoothframe i dunno. something like that. Anyways it was a sick command. So basically I'm looking for a complete console command list.

So I thought about the best place to check and its here. You guys are the quake experts. I hope I just remember what the command is. I've tried a few different things.

Anyways I've been playing and its coming back kinda a bit. This game is so awesome. I love that theres a community like this.

Oh also does anyone know about like trickmap or some shit like that? And also I need a demo explanation. For the whole speed maps. I was just finding out about that stuff b4 I lost my computer back in the day.

Anyways thanks in advance if you guys know anything about either of these topics

you guys are awesome. I looked through the first list and it wasnt there. but I can enlighten you on one thing.

host_framerate I think it was. anyways if you type one it goes through demos and shit super fast. but if you type a decimal it goes slower. so you can actually, if you control the server, slow down time and record a demo.

So it will seem like your AMAZING.

I remember one time when I was really immature in high school. I recorded this one demo in slow mo and sent it to a guy who was an lpb who was really good. we talked a lot of shit to eachother b4 that. anyways he watched the demo and was like wow your amazing. cause like it played in normal time but was just a really huge demo cause i played it in slow mo.

I played vs some frog bots. So then after since i played it on slow mo the guy thought i was like the craziest player ever. lol

There has been discussions amongst the multiplayer quaker's that the "Quake Done Quick / Speed Runners" did that exact same thing. Change the host frame rate, and give yourself more time to pull off insane crazy tricks and nail the timing easier. I have my own opinions about that, and they are __________________________________________________ ___________________ and ________________________, further more, _________________. haha

M_FILTER is the smoothing command I think you are looking for.
Others also help to smooth your aim if that is what your trying to do.
For instance if you use the cvarlist echo commands.txt it will print them to a file you can look over closely and change all the ones that interfere with your view.I like to eliminate almost all of them, even the pain ones that tell you you just got hit.I can hear the sound so I disable it.look for the V commands for that they shift your view and flash a color, also the weapon model blocks your view so I remove it as well,R_drawviewmodel 0.I find the bobbing annoying as well,CL_bobcycle or such.Disabling the color shift for the powerups helps as well.ring quad pent, just annoying to me.last one I have helps but a lesser degree is to use a transparent crosshair for unobstructed view.
                        WARNING
May be too intense for some viewers.

Nope. Sgt Pieface was noticing on my server the crosshair is always a little higher than the spots your shots actually hit. I remember one of the older engines, I thought PQ had a crossnair x and y pos cvar. I figured all the engines would have adopted it.
