SuperQOT (Quake and SuperHOT)

I ran into this from Reddit- I guess SuperHOT is an upcoming game, and the way it's going to work is that time freezes when you stop moving. This is a demo they made using Quake/DarkPlaces: Youtubes

You can see the effect within the first minute of the video, then another good few seconds around 1:45 with the dog.
