I still think of you as Tekno[skillz], when we used to play CTF with McTarn on intertex....

    Yeah wtf!?

I switched my name from Rook(not "R00k from Intertex") To Phenom (Phenomenon not "V"enom) a while back and I don't regret it at all... It certainly stopped all the bullshit questions about QC which everyone kept asking me like I knew.

I've gone through quite a few aliases in Quake, very few actually know me or my original Quake alias from the "OLD" days and 99% of those people haven't been seen in years!

It's weird because in Quake I could tell who people were simply by watching their movement & style instead of worrying about their name...

"Names are for friends. So I don't need one."

Some people just don't get it! Even when more important ones where there before them, they provoke confusion and keep their nick!!1!

Some even think they can get away by adding shitty pseudo clan tags?!

(So I guess my advice is to keep it.)

Baker has insinuated that I'm a leprechaun, and I don't know how to feel about it.

Cobalt, you are my one and only Cobalt. Ignore the imposters out there and make them rue the day they chose the same name as you.

Challenge him to a QuakeC duel anyway.

Raise the stakes, if he loses he has to give up his real name.

    That'll teach him.

And smack him upside the head for referring to "Quake 3 Arena" as "Quake".

I don't believe you. Prove it.

I don't believe that guy could even find the nightmare hall in the start map, so how would he know QuakeC?

Obviously it is completely up to you, but IMO...

He's a metal worker, you CODE QuakeC.
He held it down at QuakeCon, hold it down actually in Quake.

I wouldn't dare place his accomplishments over or under your own, nor do I care to compare you guys to one another.

Until you mentioned his existence, I had no idea he even existed.

If it helps you feel any better, I share names with lots of other internet entities out there.
