Provide user feedback, send him a PM. Make sure you are offering suggestions and not making demands, it will take you further in the end.

because it's in desktop mode you can change it to default and it will go to whatever resolution you set it at. Also you can resize it. Sure are a lot of non complaints.

Disclaimer: I never used the quake injector.
If the quake injector does not automatically deletes the content it downloaded after you played it, then you can replay the content anytime you want using MiniQL.

MiniQL is designed to do just that!
It has a great GUI that shows you all maps and mods and gives you the freedom to launch everything from there. Offline. Including several commands.

    Direct Download: MiniQL: MiniQL

Usually in single player there are no other clients, so the common command is map <mapname>.
But that only works when you are already in the correct gamedir of the map or mod.
Every Quake engines default gamedir is id1. So you can start every map that is inside id1/maps with the map <mapname> command.

But the Quake injector also allows you to download mods, not only maps. Mods use a separate gamedir to be able to use their own game contents, progs.dats or maps. To be able to load them you would first have to change your gamedir to the mods gamedir and launch the map then. Usually you do this with a shortcut as you know: -game <modname> +map <mapname>

The best and convenient offline way is to use MiniQL. See above.
It is an All-In-One solution when the times are hard and quaddicted is offline

If anyone is really antsy about the Quaddicted downtime you can follow along on the "Quaddicted News Spam Thread" over at func_msgboard. Looks like some hardware issues that may take a few days to resolve.

Exactly, I don't think there is any flash on the Quaddicted site and Quake Injector is a Java app.

    to clarify flash:

due to security flaws, firefox and other browsers have flash blocked by default, the user has to explicitly allow it.

    About QI being down...

I had heard that Firefox was not supporting Adobe Flash anymore.. I thought that was a mistake... Seeing that QI runs from an Adobe base... Hmm...? Could that be it...

I'll just wait until it's back up... I love playing maps from it... Please tell the owners of QI , it's a great service from the Gods....
    Thanks...

Yeah like the other guys said Quaddicted is experiencing some downtime and since that's where Quake Injector gets the maps from it is having problems as well. I wouldn't worry about it though, give it a day or two and things will most likely be back to normal.
